Senior PM / Scrum Master (z niemieckim C1+)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scrum Master to join our dynamic team and play a key role in the software development projects for some of the world's most recognized brands. You will be accountable for ensuring the successful delivery of projects by championing agile best practices.

Engagement Terms:

Industry: Finance / Insurance 

Location: 100% Remote

Start: ASAP (max. 1 month notice period) 

Rate (determined individually): 140 - 165 PLN net + VAT / hour 

Engagement: B2B (outsourcing via 1dea), full-time, long-term

Recruitment Process (100% Remote):

• Stage 0 - CV evaluation by 1dea
• Stage 1 - Introduction to the Client's recruitment
• Stage 2 - (if OK) Meeting with the Team Lead / Engineering Manager on the Client's side. Duration ~60 min
• Stage 3 - Decision on collaboration

Scope of duties:

• Lead and facilitate all Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives), effectively utilizing your hands-on experience with Scrum and other agile frameworks like Kanban or Lean
• Apply various agile techniques such as User Stories, Burndown Charts, and Task Boards to enhance team efficiency and transparency
• Support the development team in identifying and overcoming obstacles, fostering a collaborative and productive environment
• Provide coaching and training to the team on agile methods and principles, requiring a solid understanding of the technical aspects of the projects
• Implement and track improvement measures identified during retrospectives, demonstrating the ability to analyze processes and drive enhancements
• Assist in the prioritization and planning of Product Backlog Items, working closely with Product Owners to clarify and detail requirements
• Support the adoption of Scrum at the organizational level, methodically coaching all team members, including the Product Owner, in their respective roles.
• Actively work to increase the team's agile maturity, with a particular focus on scaled agile projects
• Proactively manage all aspects of project management to ensure smooth execution and on-time delivery.

Skillset needed:

• 3+ years of experience in delivering projects within an Agile development environment (SCRUM, SAFe, NEXUS, LeSS, APMG AGILE Framework)
• 2+ years of proven experience as a Scrum Master, effectively implementing Agile and Lean principles
• 4+ years of experience in a project management role (PM), preferably within large-scale projects or programs in distributed, multicultural environments
• A higher education degree, ideally in Business, Technology, Science, Engineering, or Mathematics
• Strong practical knowledge of techniques used by Scrum Masters, Agile Project Managers, and Product Owners (relevant certifications are a plus)
• In-depth understanding of agile methodologies and techniques (e.g., team-level Scrum, project-level SAFe)
• Experience facilitating discussions and workshops with senior stakeholders in international, multicultural organizations
• Proficiency in agile management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and potentially others like Azure DevOps (AM)
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify process inefficiencies and propose improvements
• Fluency in German, both spoken and written (C1 level or higher preferred)
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written
