IT Project Manager (US East Coast morning hrs coverage)

We are looking for a Project Manager to work with our client - a global technology leader specializing in Model Risk Management solutions for financial institutions. Their innovative SaaS platform enables organizations to effectively manage, test, and document their models at scale, ensuring complete reproducibility and audit readiness.

*Project working hours are adjusted to our client's location. 

Your main responsibilities for this position will be:

• Overseeing the end-to-end project lifecycle for software implementation, managing both technical and business components from initiation to go-live.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the project.
• Creating and managing detailed project plans outlining timelines, resource allocation, risk mitigation strategies, and key milestones.
• Identifying risks and developing mitigation plans to address potential challenges and maintaining smooth project progress.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including status reports, budgets, and client communications.
• Leading and facilitating essential project meetings, such as kick-offs, regular updates, and steering committees.
• Taking a hands-on role in configuring software solutions, supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and contributing to documentation for both internal and client use.

• Practice (minimum 5 years) in implementing software applications as an IT Business Analyst/IT consultant/ IT System Analyst is a must!
• Proven experience in managing IT projects and teams - must have!
• Bachelor or Master in computer science, information technology, science, engineering or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of workflow systems and their application to business process improvement (for example UML swimlanes, systems used by multiple departments in large organizations, trade/confirmation/payment flows in financial institutions)

It would be nice if you have:

• Knowledge of SQL.
• Familiarization with software architecture and integration.
• Practince in working with financial institutions.
• Working with model risk management, model development/ model validation is a plus.
