- Are experts in UX Design (+5 years)
- Have experience in leading a UX team (+2 years)
- Have experience working with executive leaders
- Can manage their own work and coordinate team members’ tasks based on the company’s priorities
- Know how to set priorities for the team based on the company’s strategy and KPIs
- Are eager to help and support others in their tasks
- Care about people’s development, inspire them to action, share knowledge, find new solutions
- Are used to working in changing environments and adjusting their work and the team to the new challenges
- Are team players - demonstrate flexibility when faced with the larger team’s challenges
- Can identify problems and find solutions
- Think about Customer, Merchant broadly - as a sum of many elements, eg. like how the product works, how it communicates with users, what is customer support like, what the dependencies with other products are, etc.
- Use various resources to understand the problem from different perspectives
- Have excellent communication skills - can tell user stories based on research findings, both during meetings with top stakeholders and in writing
- Communicate well in English, both speaking and writing (at least B2)

Your main responsibilities
- You will lead the work of one of the UX Design Teams in the Merchant Experience area (MEX)
- Based on the plans in the area you will set operational tasks and priorities for your team. You will supervise the team’s work in order to fulfill the design roadmap
- You will be responsible for planning UX design work in the product development process - from strategy to monitoring and optimization
- You ensure that the experience is crafted to align with both user perspective and business goals
- You ensure that recommendations from design work are targeted to key stakeholders and have impact on products/services
- You will work closely with various departments, including product, engineering and marketing to ensure the user experience meets or exceeds user expectations
- You will be responsible for observing and reporting UX metric changes for your area
- You will be responsible for maintaining and improving processes in the UX Design Team
- You will set and monitor the individual development of your subordinates
- You will have an impact on UX design development in Allegro (e.g. you will be part of the Hiring Squad in the recruitment process, improve the design process & tools portfolio, create UX metrics, etc.)
