About the role: 

The Team Leader will lead a team of developers working on projects from the enterprise backlog and help resolve production issues for Altium 365 enterprise customers.

A day in the life of our Team Leader: 

• Leading and managing an engineering team and projects
• Collaboration with both Altium's and customers' engineering teams
• Investigating and resolving performance issues and specific cases
• Writing and reviewing code (50% of the time)
• Collaboration with:
• o Enterprise customers
• o Customer Success
• o Product Managers
• o Quality Assurance
• Overseeing daily team operations
• Contribution to the full software development lifecycle
• Work with a tech stack that includes Java and .NET Core, AWS, multi-tenant architecture, and distributed high-load systems
• Handle tech challenges different from most others on the market, a mixture of complex engineering software, microelectronics and cloud services

Who We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience in team and project leadership
• 10+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience working in reputable companies with international teams
• Willingness to learn Altium 365 Platform and new technologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a "Getting Things Done" attitude.
• Technical skills:
• o Senior-level knowledge of Java
• o Resolving production issues (analyzing application logs, crash dumps, tracing,
• etc.)
• o Practical experience in multithreading and asynchronous operations

Required Technology Experience

• Java
• AWS, EC2, ECS, RDS, etc.
• Multi-tenant architecture, microservices
• CI, CD, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
• MySQL (FireBird, Oracle as a plus)
• Knowledge of .NET Core, .NET Framework would be a plus
