IT Administrator

Key responsibilities

Deployment of Windows OS via AutoPilot.

Deployment of software packages to ~4000 End User devices via Intune.

Deployment of updates to End User Devices and Servers.

Administration of Windows Servers, running core IT applications and functions.

Work in tandem with SysOps Administrators and Engineers to provide 2nd level support for ServiceDesk tickets and ensuring full coverage of vacation periods.

Working closely with other members of the IT Infrastructure Team and wider IT team to ensure critical hardware and services are robust and highly available.

Liaise with 3rd parties and hosting partners to ensure critical systems and services are robust.

Ensure responsible systems and services are monitored effectively with SolarWinds.

Provide support and advice to operational infrastructure teams to enable efficient operation and problem resolution.

Define, create, maintain, and enhance systems procedures.

Lead and participate in international IT projects.

Generating reports and presentations for senior management.

 

Skills / Requirements

5 years’ experience in IT hardware & IT Ops support.

Experience in Microsoft 365 administration

Experience in Intune (Autopilot, software packages deployment, MDM for Windows and iOS)

Experience in Windows Server 2016+ (installation, patching, managing, troubleshooting & upgrading.)

Experience in Windows based products and services (Active Directory, BitLocker, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, PowerShell, WSUS, RDS.)

Understanding of LAN/WAN network technology. Knowledge of protocols: TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, TFTP, DNS, SSH.)

Experience in supporting a global, distributed, multi-language environment.

Experience as working as part of a project team.

MS Office skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.

Ability to work with people in multicultural & cross functional environments.

Ability to work independently.

Previous experience in a LAN/WAN environment, supporting multiple locations and a 1000+ end user environment.

IT related higher education qualification.

Driving License.

Ability to travel across EU.

 

Nice to have

Experience in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM)

Experience in VOIP systems and technologies

Experience in administrating MS SQL Server, 2005, 2008, 2012, 2014, 2016

Experience in Active Directory Certificate Services
