Solution Engineer ETRM (f/m)

Customers in Poland benefit from tailor-made offers for the purchase and supply of energy and gas based on structured and long-term contracts. Axpo Polska also provides services to more than 25,000 companies from the small and medium-sized enterprises segment and, since April 2020, it has only been offering energy with a certified origin from renewable energy sources. While supporting energy transition in Poland, the Company also implements large-scale photovoltaic projects.

Currently we are looking for: Solution Engineer ETRM (f/m)

Your responsibilities:

• Maintaining and ensuring the stability of the ETRM platform from both functional and technical perspectives, including (but not limited to) managing key components of the Openlink Endur system. 
• Comprehensive management and implementation of change requests as well as optimizing solution deployment time according to business needs, with a particular focus on front office solutions. 
• Continuous improvement of IT and business processes and their implementation in IT systems. 
• Analyzing and solving complex business problems in areas such as Trading, Origination, Risk, and Operations. 
• Business analysis, project management, and consulting for short-term projects and medium- and long-term technical projects. 
• Testing and validating new application versions. 
• Communicating with users and vendors, working closely with the ETRM analysts’ team within the Axpo Group. 
• Supporting operational teams in case of issues with the ETRM platform. 
• Modeling new types of contracts within the ETRM platform. 

Our requirements:

• Possess a degree in computer science, finance, engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Demonstrate leadership competencies and strong analytical skills.
• Have experience with Openlink Endur v16.0 or later (preferred) and application management and configuration.
• Bring knowledge of ETRM/FTRM/CTRM systems, ideally with user or support experience in enterprise applications like Endur, SAP, or Oracle Financials.
• Be familiar with databases (e.g., MSSQL, Snowflake, Databricks) and programming languages (e.g., Python, C, Java, VB, .NET, OpenJVS).
• Understand the energy trading sector and utility business operations.
• Communicate effectively, with fluent English and native Polish proficiency.
• Exhibit a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in dynamic, demanding environments.
• Work collaboratively within a team environment.
