Within the B. Braun Group, the “SAP Hosting Team” is looking for a new team member for the position of “SAP  Basis Administrator”. In this role you will create and develop the technical architecture and concepts of the B.  Braun SAP landscapes. 

Duties and responsibilities 

• Conception, design, planning and implementation of global SAP system landscapes under consideration  of cloud technologies, security requirements, high availability and 24/7 hours operation • Creation, implementation and continuously improvement of concepts for the provision, monitoring,  security, effective administration and operation of complex SAP landscapes 

• Ensuring stable, secure, trouble-free and high-performance availability of SAP systems • Planning, control and implementation of global IT projects in the SAP technology environment • Control of external service providers 

• Creation of solution documentation and procedural instructions 

• Planning, coordination and implementation of lifecycle activities 

• Planning and implementation of PoCs for testing of future concepts, SAP technologies, cloud and on premise architectures 

Professional competencies 

Degrees : 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field 

• Job experience: >4 years of professional IT experience 

Technical Skills: 

• Proven background and strong experience in technology, landscape architecture, implementation,  administration and operation of complex SAP landscapes 

• Proven background and strong experience with SAP HANA database technology 

• Proven background and experience in implementation of security requirements and with cloud  technologies in context of SAP solutions 

• Proven background and strong experience in troubleshooting, monitoring and pro-active measurements

• Experience in SAP authorization management 

• Experience SAP Data Volume Management 

• Experience with SAP Front End solutions (SAP GUI and Fiori) 

• Experiences with encryption and Single Sign On solutions in SAP context 

• Experience with SAP Solution Manager and system monitoring 

• Experience with SAP ASE database technologies 

• Experience with SAP landscapes based on Linux (Red Hat) 

• Experience with working in international teams 

Personal competencies 

Language Skills : 

• Good verbal and written communication skills in English (at least B2) 

• German would be a plus 

Soft Skills: 

• Technically enthusiastic and willing to learn attitude is required 

• Ability to work unsupervised in a multi-task environment in a global team

• Very good analytical and conceptual skills 

• Communication and team skills 

• Experience in managing external partners 

• High level of initiative
