Scope of the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly established team in Zielona Góra that will strengthen existing engineering teams within B2C2. We need smart, self-driven individuals as they will take more and more responsibilities over time. Successful candidates will help us shape the future of our best-in-class trading platform where large institutional clients trade crypto, FX, CFDs, Options and lend / borrow. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

NOTE: At this stage, the offer is addressed to candidates currently residing in Zielona Góra (no relocation please).

Role and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python-based applications and components for our cutting-edge tech stack
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback
• Write and maintain automated tests to ensure code quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features
• Work closely with other teams to investigate and solve issues
• Maintain and enforce good quality internal documentation 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Proficiency in Python programming
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and some design patterns
• Clean and efficient coding style
• Experience with Django+DRF or another commonly used Python web-based framework
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases like PostgreSQL
• Experience with Celery, Kafka, Redis, gRPC is great to have
• Understanding of web technologies and protocols (e.g. HTTP, WebSocket)
• Some experience with Linux, Git, Docker, Kubernetes and/or AWS is a plus
• Interest in crypto and/or trading is nice to have
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A problem solver with a keen eye for detail
• Eager to learn
