Leading this initiative is a newly formed US-based Business Development team, which provides strategic consulting and digital transformation thought leadership in hopes of cultivating business growth through strategic partnerships with current and new clients.
The Business Development team has defined 3 pillars to support client acquisition and development – Client Engagement, Business Functions and Sales & Marketing. The Client Engagement and Business Line functions are growing entities, and C&F is looking for a Business Analyst to join the team to support in our continued growth in these functions.
You will report to the US-based team, but it will be possible to work in the CET time zone, offering a unique opportunity to collaborate across time zones and contribute to a global team’s success. ✨
👉 Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in business analysis, consulting, or a related field, preferably in digital transformation or IT environments.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to support client-facing strategic thought leadership.
- Strong stakeholder management experience, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams, leadership, and clients
- Proficiency in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements using various methodologies (e.g., workshops, interviews, observations).
- Ability to assess, document, and translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements.
- Strong client focus and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and business problems
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 such as Powerpoint, Excel
📋 Main responsibilities:
- Business Functions – Focused on one of the C&F Business Functions
- Develop “client agnostic” Business Function Strategies, focused on attractive and valuable products, accelerators, services
- Support Client-Facing Strategic Thought Leadership through workshops and assessments, scoping digital transformation roadmaps, and drive C&F’s success stories through persona-based credentials for clients.
- Support development of industry partnerships that strengthen C&F’s offering in a specific Business Function
- Client Engagement – Focused on supporting one industry / client’s E2E program scope
- Support execution of client engagement strategies to ensure success and clear growth
- Collaborate with clients to define challenges, prioritize roadmaps, ensure business value through use cases, and communicate key project decisions for successful delivery.
- Support scoping and costing expectations with our clients, and support delivery teams in meeting margin expectations
📝 Common Responsibilities:
- Gather detailed business requirements through various methods such as interviews, workshops, and observations. Analyze and document these requirements to ensure they are clear, concise, and actionable.
- Support Product Ownership by defining features and coordinating requirements for UX and delivery teams
- Ensure requirements align with design, build, and test phases
- Collaborate with end users to understand user needs and requirements
- Work with our leadership team and SME to propose and build innovative technology solutions for our clients
💡 Nice to Have:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in technology delivery or implementation
- Experience within the Life Sciences industry, Commercial or Manufacturing & Supply Chain experience is a plus
- Technical proficiency in software delivery tools such as JIRA, Microsoft DevOps (ADO) or similar tools
- Experience in delivery methodology such as KanBan or Scrum
- Experience with project management practices and software
- Experience working with a cross functional team such as UI/UX designers, engineers and end users
- Experience with building or using business intelligence(BI) tools such as PowerBI or Spotfire
