Role Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated GenAI Lead to spearhead our efforts in developing and refining custom Large Language Models (LLMs) tailored to our platform’s unique needs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in training and fine-tuning open-source models and a deep understanding of the intricacies involved in customizing these models for specific use cases. This role is pivotal in advancing our AI capabilities and enhancing the value we deliver to both job seekers and employers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, training, and deployment of custom LLMs for Calimala's platform, ensuring optimal performance and accuracy in job matching and candidate profiling.
- Design and implement fine-tuning strategies for open-source models, adapting them to meet the specific needs of our recruitment platform.
- Collaborate closely with the Founding Team to integrate AI models seamlessly into the platform’s architecture.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of deployed models, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary adjustments.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in generative AI and large language models, bringing innovative ideas to the table to maintain our competitive edge.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in developing and training custom LLMs, with a strong portfolio of past projects involving open-source models like Llama.
- Deep understanding of the underlying architecture and mechanics of large language models, including tokenization, attention mechanisms, and transfer learning.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, with experience in using AI/ML libraries and frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS and Azure) and experience in deploying machine learning models in production environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the recruitment tech or HR tech industry.
- Experience with AI ethics and bias mitigation in model development.
- Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects.
