Senior DevOps Engineer

Salary range: B2B - 38-42 Euro/h + VAT 💰

Ciklum is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team full-time in Poland.

About the role:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. The candidate will be positioned within the rapidly growing cloud engineering team to work on building, maintaining and scaling our clients web application technologies (PHP, and Python) using modern infrastructure techniques such as serverless containers and container orchestration.

Responsibilities:

• Review and oversee platform enhancements
• Advise on new technologies to make sure Jellyfish are always evolving
• Execute implementations to tight deadlines, working well both independently and as part of a team
• Govern our technologies to ensure security standards are met
• Managing large cloud projects for our clients across multiple regions globally
• Work closely with the in-house developers to help share knowledge and improve the quality of practices
• Taking ownership of projects gaining a personal satisfaction in achieving high performing environments
• Working in a DevOps capacity with a desire to automate everything
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment trying to always achieve new goals

Requirements:

• Excellent Cloud knowledge in GCP & AWS
• A very good understanding of microservice architecture
• A very good understanding of serverless technologies
• An Understanding of performance enhancement technologies (CDN, Caching, etc)
• Practice SRE concepts and design
• Ability to scope and estimate technical web builds
• Effectively conduct architectural reviews
• Strong understanding of networking concepts
• Competent with Dockerizing applications
• Hands-on experience with managing Kubernetes (EKS, GKE)
• Strong experience with Terraform or other IaC technologies
• Develop and maintain CI Pipelines (Github Actions, GitLab)

Technical Skills:

• CI/CD (Github actions, Gitlab Pipelines, ArgoCD, Cloud Build)
• Infrastructure/Environment Management (Terraform, helm)
• Containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Cloud Services(AWS, GCP)
• Search services (Elasticsearch, Opensearch)
• Database Management (MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB)
• Languages (Python, Bash)
• Linux expertise

Desirable:

• Certifications in GCP or AWS will be an advantage (but not essential)
• Elastic Search Experience

Technical Skills:

• MLOps (OpenAI, Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock)
• Languages (PHP, Javascript)
