SAP Integration (CPI) Consultant

We are looking for an experienced SAP Integration (CPI) Consultant to take a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP integration solutions while mentoring junior team members and driving technical excellence.

Required Qualifications

• Around 4-5 years of experience in SAP integration design and implementation in enterprise projects.
• 1-2 years in a Senior/ Lead role, providing technical leadership in SAP integration projects.
• Advanced expertise in SAP Integration Suite, SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), SAP API Management (APIM), OData, IDocs, and Web Services.
• Strong experience with REST APIs, SOAP, XML, and JSON.
• Hands-on experience with Java Scripting and Groovy for integration development.
• Proficiency in integration-specific scripting and transformation tools (e.g., XSLT, JSON, XML).
• Ability to debug complex integration problems and manage version control and transport protocols within SAP Integration landscapes.
• Strong communication and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering business value.
• Experience mentoring and guiding junior team members.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience in ABAP programming or other programming languages.
• Familiarity with SAP BASIS tasks related to integration deployment and monitoring.
• SAP Integration Suite certification is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design and Development

Analyze client requirements to understand integration needs and design appropriate solutions.

Develop, configure, and test SAP Integration Suite workflows using middleware tools and custom coding.

Ensure integration solutions meet functional, technical, and performance requirements.

Implementation and Deployment

Implement integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems, databases, and cloud applications.

Perform data mapping, transformations, and migrations to ensure seamless interoperability.

Deploy integration components across development, testing, and production environments.

System Testing and Troubleshooting

Conduct unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Debug and resolve complex integration issues, ensuring stability and reliability.

Optimize performance and scalability of integration workflows.

Documentation

Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including designs, user manuals, and operational guides.

Update documentation based on system upgrades, enhancements, and best practices.

Client and Stakeholder Interaction

Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide regular updates.

Serve as a trusted advisor to clients during the integration lifecycle, addressing technical queries or concerns.

Continuous Improvement

Identify opportunities to optimize existing integration processes and enhance efficiency.

Stay updated with emerging SAP technologies, integration tools, and best practices.

Compliance and Quality Assurance

Ensure all integration solutions comply with organizational and industry standards.

Maintain data security and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Collaboration and Team Support

Work closely with senior consultants, architects, and developers to implement solutions.

Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering knowledge-sharing and skill development.
