Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies for the IT category to optimize cost savings, quality, and supplier performance
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, potential suppliers, and innovative solutions within the IT industry
- Partner with IT/Technology Leadership to align strategic IT initiatives with Procurement strategies and Business objectives
- Understand the IT supplier contract portfolio to identify synergy opportunities, expiring contracts and optimization needs
- Lead supplier identification, evaluation, selection, and contract negotiation processes to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- In partnership with IT leadership, manage supplier relationships and performance through regular reviews, KPI tracking, and performance improvement initiatives
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance Procurement processes, efficiency, and effectiveness within the IT category
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements throughout the procurement lifecycle
- Monitor and mitigate risks associated with the IT supply chain, including geopolitical, financial, and operational risks
- Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on procurement best practices, supplier selection, and contract management
Requirements:
- Around 7 years of proven experience in IT procurement, strategic sourcing, and supplier management roles, preferably in a multinational organization
- Deep understanding of IT products and services, including hardware, software, cloud services, and telecommunication
- Knowledge of contract law, procurement regulations, and ethical sourcing practices
- Demonstrated track record of successfully managing complex procurement projects and driving cost savings initiatives
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, conduct financial analysis, and make data-driven decisions
- Excellent Project Management, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive, results-oriented, and adaptable to change with a continuous improvement mindset
- English language skills at C1 level
