Release Manager

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate, plan, and maintain the release roadmap for one or more applications
• Oversee release and deployment planning, managing multiple parallel releases
• Plan and execute go-live and post-go-live activities
• Track and coordinate change activities throughout the release process
• Lead release decision meetings to secure stakeholder approval at key milestones
• Organize handover sessions from development teams to operations teams
• Enhance release quality and efficiency by leveraging automation, DevOps methodologies, and innovative techniques

Requirements:

• At least 7 years of experience in IT project management and planning
• Previous experience in release or deployment management (preferably in banking)
• A degree in IT or related discipline
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, CI/CD practices, and DevOps methodologies
• Familiarity with ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management
• Technical knowledge to collaborate with development teams and validate deployment runbooks
• Ability to bridge IT and business with a solid understanding of business needs
• Passion for working with Release Orchestration tools and automation
• High proficiency in English (spoken and written)
