Senior Frontend Developer

Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation of next-generation frontend solutions for eCommerce
• Provide technical expertise and consultation on frontend-related topics
• Conduct code reviews to enhance team knowledge and suggest improvements
• Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering their technical growth
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies, creating Proof of Concept functionalities to address future business needs
• Champion best-in-class development principles and quality standards, such as Clean Code, BDD/TDD
• Collaborate within the Development Community of Practice to establish and endorse development principles and best practices
• Address complex engineering issues, including technology, development methodologies, and CI/CD

Requirements:

• 5+ years in a similar role, preferably in international, multicultural environments
• Agile methodologies (Scrum, XP) and DevOps expertise
• Proven track record of delivering results in software development
• Strong JavaScript development experience, including Next.js, React, and TypeScript
• Proficiency in semantic HTML, CSS (including pre-processors like SCSS), and core JavaScript concepts
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jest)
• Knowledge of software design patterns and principles (e.g., Clean Code, Clean Architecture)
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins/Azure DevOps and containerization (Docker)
• Understanding of performance optimization, cross-browser/device testing, and frontend performance requirements
• Very good command of English (oral and written)

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with UX principles, wireframe tools (Abstract, Figma) and analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)
