Data Engineer

We are looking for Data Engineer on behalf of our client to join to the leader from the sector a client from the largest banking group.

Contract: B2B

Work mode: Hybrid from Katowice

We are looking for you, if you:

• You have hands on experience with Oracle SQL and RDBMS (12c or higher),
• Oracle Data Integrator 12c (tool)
• You know Oracle Goldengate,
• You are experienced in various data integration techniques,
• Linux (bash) scripting has no secrets for you,
• You have strong communication skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and in an agile way.

You’ll get extra points for:

• In previous roles, you were the ‘go-to-person’ for the team when encountering challenges. You are a genuine team player and can also coach and support other team members to achieve shared goals,
• CI / CD tooling: Azure DevOps, Maven,
• Experience with visualization with Grafana, Elastic, Kibana
• Experience in a complex, corporate environment,
• Experience in Lending, Financial systems,
• Issue trackers like ServiceNow,
• Collaboration tooling like Confluence.

Additional skills:

• The ability to proactively introduce improvements and innovations,
• Ability to find alternative solutions,
• Being open-minded person, eager to learn, face new challenges and develop cooperation with colleagues from other ING Group units.

Your responsibilities:

• Data pipeline development, maintenance and support,
• Working with IT risk.
