Job Overview: As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will plan, design, develop, and test user interfaces and user experience components for the client's products. You will provide expertise in user experience design, usability evaluation, and testing to product development teams. Your role will involve developing and coding prototypes, beta, and end applications for user interface elements based on user experience specifications and design standards.

Job Title: Senior Frontend Developer

Location: Remote or Hybrid (Berlin or Bochum, Germany)

Employment Type: 6-Month B2B Contract

Language Requirement: Fluent in German

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance existing user interfaces for core products.
• Design, develop, test, validate, and debug new user interfaces.
• Develop the transfer layer from UI to the backend.
• Plan and design new user interfaces using wireframes.
• Conduct code reviews for other UI developers.
• Write unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito.
• Support the development of user acceptance tests using Selenium WebDriver and the Concordion framework.

Primary Skills:

• Strong Java coding skills with proficiency in Vaadin (mandatory).
• Experience with the Spring framework, including dependency injection and transaction management.
• Proficient in writing test cases using JUnit and Mockito.
• Fluent German language skills; B2/C1 level is acceptable.
• Experience with IntelliJ IDEA.
• Proficient in Git platforms (Bitbucket/GitHub/GitLab).
• Experience with Maven build automation tool.
• Knowledge of HTTP and RESTful services.

Additional Information:

• Flexible working options: Hybrid (Berlin or Bochum) or fully remote within Germany.
• Flexible working hours with core team time between 10 am and 4 pm CET.
