SnowFlake Architect

Dear Consultant,

We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Architect to join our multinational clients team in Warsaw, Poland. This is an onsite position open to both permanent and B2B contract arrangements.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Snowflake data architecture solutions, leveraging expertise in data modeling, data integration, and analytics.
• Define solutions aligned with strategic objectives using modern Snowflake features.
• Lead architectural discussions and design exercises to build and automate large-scale data transformations.
• Apply knowledge of data lake, data warehouse, and data sharing concepts.
• Utilize Snowflake utilities such as SnowSQL, SnowPark, and SnowCD.
• Transform data using DBT on Snowflake.
• Develop, schedule, test, and investigate data models using DBT Cloud.
• Work on Azure data engineering projects.
• Implement Snowflake security features, including access control, authentication, authorization, encryption, masking, and secured views.
• Set up resource monitors, RBAC controls, scalable virtual warehouses, and perform SQL performance tuning in Snowflake.
• Design migration architectures from legacy systems to Snowflake.
• Lead the estimation and planning of data transformation projects.
• Provide leadership and guidance on data strategy and roadmap.
• Communicate effectively with clients and project team members.
• Engage with senior stakeholders and manage large cross-functional projects.
• Perform data modeling.

Qualifications:

• 12+ years of experience with Snowflake and Azure Cloud.
• Proven experience architecting end-to-end solutions using Snowflake.
• Expertise in Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Snowflake.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and CI/CD practices.
• Strong SQL skills for data retrieval and manipulation.
• Experience with data visualization best practices and principles.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
