VB.NET Support Engineer with Spanish

Location: Poland (Remote)

Start Date: March

Contract Duration: Long-term

Industry: Automotive Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate effectively with business users in both Spanish and English.
• Quickly acquire application knowledge and transition smoothly from current team members.
• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for incidents, service requests, and enhancements, demonstrating strong technical and functional expertise.
• Conduct root cause analysis for technical issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions.
• Interact with customers to manage expectations and provide timely updates.
• Collaborate with internal teams and third-party suppliers to ensure business needs are met, including ticket management and coordination of software upgrades.
• Identify operational improvements and report them to the Support Lead or Regional Tower Lead.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools from a support perspective.
• Support testing activities by creating test data and executing test cases as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Spanish and English with excellent communication skills.
• Strong technical skills in VB.NET, SQL Server, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API.
• Ability to quickly understand and assimilate application knowledge.
• Experience in providing Level 2 and Level 3 support with strong technical and functional expertise.
• Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Experience in maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and third-party suppliers.
• Experience in supporting testing activities, including creating test data and executing test cases.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the automotive manufacturing industry.
• Familiarity with additional programming languages and frameworks.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
