If you're an exceptional software engineer who thrives in fast-paced environments and wants to work on some of the most advanced AI technology in the world, you'll have the opportunity to be a part of a Silicon Valley-based AI startup revolutionizing speech recognition.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of strong software engineering experience with a deep understanding of C++
• Solid understanding of systems programming and cloud-based architectures
• Proven experience designing, developing, and deploying distributed systems at scale
• Strong command of clean code practices, performance optimization, and debugging
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience working on multi-node systems and handling distributed computation
• Ability to write well-documented, maintainable, and testable code
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Willingness to be present in the Ljubljana office at least 2 weeks per month (relocation support and accommodation covered)

Nice to Have:

• Experience with PyTorch or other ML frameworks
• Background in Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence
• Knowledge of unsupervised learning methodologies
• Familiarity with Speech AI or STT systems

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a small team of elite engineers to build and optimize cutting-edge speech AI systems
• Design, implement, and maintain robust, scalable C++ services deployed in cloud environments
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to shaping the future of the platform
• Own the development lifecycle – from problem definition and design to implementation and deployment
• Maintain high standards of code quality, reliability, and performance
• Work closely with researchers and product teams to integrate advanced ML/AI features
