Senior/Lead Backend Developer(Kotlin/Java)

As a part of the engineering team, you will be responsible for building a scalable, high-performing platform that enables seamless integration between streaming services and financial transactions. Your work will involve designing and implementing distributed systems capable of handling millions of concurrent users with low latency and high reliability. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop robust APIs, optimize data pipelines, and ensure the security and integrity of financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

•⁠ ⁠Designing and developing distributed architectures to ensure modularity and scalability.  

•⁠ ⁠Building real-time data processing systems to deliver smooth and uninterrupted streaming experiences.  

•⁠ ⁠Leveraging cloud technologies to deploy, manage, and scale infrastructure efficiently.  

•⁠ ⁠Ensuring system reliability through rigorous testing, monitoring, and incident management processes.  

•⁠ ⁠Implementing robust security standards to protect user data and financial transactions.  

Requirements for Backend Engineers:

We’re looking for someone with:  

•⁠ ⁠Kotlin (ideally) or Java – Expert level proficiency.  

•⁠ ⁠JVM-based frameworks like Spring, Micronaut, or KTOR (preferred KTOR) – Expert level proficiency.  

•⁠ ⁠RDBMS and SQL (preferred PostgreSQL) – Expert level knowledge.  

•⁠ ⁠AWS (or other major cloud providers) – Advanced experience.  

•⁠ ⁠Containerization (Docker) and Orchestration (Kubernetes, ideally EKS)*– Advanced expertise.  

•⁠ ⁠Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform – Proficiency required.  

•⁠ ⁠Strong understanding of design and architectural patterns.  

•⁠ ⁠Commitment to best practices in designing and developing high-quality software.  

•⁠ ⁠Hands-on experience in building distributed, scalable systems.  

•⁠ ⁠Extensive knowledge of monitoring tools and basic DevOps capabilities.  

•⁠ ⁠Business and domain-oriented thinking (DDD).  

•⁠ ⁠A pragmatic approach to architecture, understanding that it constantly evolves around trade-offs.
