SAP BASIS Project Manager

Position Title: SAP Basis Project Manager

Location: Remote/On-site (as required by the project)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage SAP Basis projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.
• Oversee the end-to-end SAP Basis migration processes, including both homogeneous and heterogeneous migrations.
• Coordinate and manage workloads for Delivery Leads (DLs) and ensure efficient resource allocation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, deliverables, and milestones.
• Monitor project progress and address any deviations, risks, or issues promptly.
• Maintain communication with clients and internal teams to provide updates and ensure alignment with objectives.
• Ensure compliance with technical standards, methodologies, and best practices during project delivery.
• Document project plans, and learned lessons, and provide post-implementation support if required.

Requirements:

• Seniority: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects, including migrations involving Cloud databases.
• Strong understanding of SAP Basis architecture, migration techniques, and best practices.
• Experience in leading teams, managing workloads, and collaborating with Delivery Leads (DLs).
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills to ensure smooth project execution.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

Nice to have:

• SAP migration certification or equivalent is a strong advantage.
• Experience with cloud-based SAP environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA transformation projects.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
