Data Integration Developer

PROJECT INFORMATION:

• Industry: banking
• Remuneration: up to 160 PLN/H net + VAT
• Location: Gdańsk or Warsaw (hybrid model, 1 day a week), remote work is an option (details to be agreed)

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Data Integration Developer to join a newly established Scrum team. The team will work on projects utilizing a range of technologies, including DataStage, IBM MDM, and Java.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate within an Agile Scrum team operating under the SAFe framework.
• Develop, test, and maintain data integration solutions using DataStage and related technologies.
• Enable real-time data replication and integration through IBM Change Data Capture (CDC).
• Work with Kafka/Hive connectors and ExDH for data streaming and processing.
• Parse and process XML/JSON messages effectively.
• Apply MDM (Master Data Management) concepts to design and implement solutions.
• Contribute to the adoption of Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a DataStage Developer.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Hands-on experience with IBM Change Data Capture (CDC) for real-time data replication and integration.
• Experience with Kafka/Hive connectors and ExDH.
• Strong knowledge of XML/JSON message parsing.
• Solid understanding of MDM concepts and their practical applications.
• Agile mindset and familiarity with Scrum values; experience with SAFe is preferred.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) is an advantage.
