IT Project Manager (banking/financial services)

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

This role is to manage CIO Office applications deliverables for two DevOps teams with in approx. 20 persons, incl. 2 scrum masters. The team members are located in the Nordic countries, Poland and India. This role is best suited for someone who can be pragmatic and adjust the role according to the requirements, who is a leader and can support the team. If you like to take own initiative you will be able to grow in this role.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 5 years of Project management and/or delivery management experience.
• Experience from working in Financial Services.
• Accustomed to work in complex IT architecture landscapes.
• Hands on experience on Jira setup, confluence and other relevant SDLC tools.
• Previous experience from assignments in banking industry is a big plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Act as single-point-of-contact for IT delivery and product management.
• Collaborate with Product management, Solution architects and Engineers to decompose the deliverables into features and capabilities.
• Responsible for IT roadmap and milestone plan (in alignment with Business owner and Service Domain Lead).
• Coordinate and synchronize activities across multiple areas, such as business, operations and IT teams.
• Ensure timely delivery of IT milestones with expected quality together with the scrum master and delivery teams.
• Proactively coordinate internal dependencies between one or multiple scrum teams and agree on external dependencies with other ARTs and projects.
• Work with Scrum Masters to help and mitigate and impediments and blockers.
• Understand and report on the progress and risks of the key deliverables to business and senior stakeholders.
• Responsible for identifying future need in resources and governance (together with SD Lead).
