We are looking for a skilled IT SAP EHS Expert to enhance our Support & Maintenance team at emagine. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely, focusing on the client’s applications to ensure ongoing business continuity by implementing improvements and designing effective solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of SAP EHS and a basic understanding of the chemical industry's applicable regulations.
- Manage and enhance SAP EHS applications for optimal performance and compliance.
- Resolve incidents and bugs efficiently.
- Apply expertise in managing, improving, and supporting existing software applications.
- Draft functional specifications for developers.
- Conduct testing, validation, and documentation of customizations and development changes.
- Collaborate with product managers and HSE experts to analyze requirements and propose solutions for EHS processes.
- Support key EHS processes, including Product Safety and Dangerous Goods Management.
- Assist in Substance Volume Tracking, SVHC, and Poison Control Notification processes.
- Participate as a project member or Project Manager for the development of new software applications.
- Prepare and lead design workshop discussions with users.
- Collaborate with end users or other IT members.
- Deep hands-on experience with SAP EHS in areas such as Product Safety, SVT, SVHC, IUCLIDE, CHESAR, Qsar
- Expertise in SAP EHS Expert Rules setup, modification, and configuration.
- Understanding of SAP BW report structure and basic knowledge of SAP BW reports and interfacing.
- General SAP EHS customization experience.
- Experience in EHS Occupational Safety applications (i.e., Gensuite).
- Experience in EHS Product Safety and Occupational Health applications (i.e., Medexis OH, Kitry, Medcare..)
- Understanding of development codification and interfaces.
- Management of SaaS packages related to EHS.
- Valuable Additional Skills:
- Knowledge in transversal business capabilities (e.g., Process Safety, Occupational Safety, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene).
- Familiarity with Global Label Management (GLM) and S/4 Product Compliance.
- Experience with interfacing, IDocs, and ALE. Language Skills:
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are appreciated.
- Experience in project management.
- Understanding of software development and interfacing tools.
