QA lead

Location: remote with occasional visits in the Warsaw office (Team meets 1-2 days per 2 weeks) / Flexible.

Product: The team is working on further developing the existing, very interesting product - an online sourcing marketplace in the global ocean freight industry. It is a multi-supplier platform that facilitates the supply of products between buyers and suppliers through online catalogues tailored to the needs of each customer. This allows vessels around the world to click and buy supplies that are delivered when the vessel arrives at the next port

We are seeking a skilled technical QA Lead with solid hands-on experience, who’s ready to develop QA activities further, develop and lead people.

We expect that you have experience in customer-focused QA models.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Define QA strategy and quality metrics.
• Grow the QA mindset and be part of the implementation (hands-on + automation).
• Cover all QA aspects of the products, E2E, FE, BE, and data from an engineering perspective.
• Build the best QA practices and bring improvement ideas to concrete daily
• operations.
• Focus on Automation in a DevSecOps and API first environment, ensure E2E QA activities cover functional and non-functional testing.
• Set the teams up for success by removing obstacles and supporting the personal and professional growth of your peers.
• Leading and operatively handling Quality Assurance activities of selected IT solutions based on our Quality Standards.
• Support the teams in setting data-driven Quality KPIs, progress monitoring,
• and improvement initiatives.
• We use QA tools such as Cucumber, Jmeter/Gatling, Notion, Cypress, Google Analytics, Power BI, Azure DevOps, and Git.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Several years of experience in leading QA activities.
• Solid knowledge of Test Management tools and Test Automation frameworks.
• Good understanding of CI/CD Hands-on experience with containerization technologies and platforms e.g. Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in Non-Functional testing.
• Proven professional experience working in an Agile environment Experience in QA documentation, plans, and reports.
• Friendly and outgoing with good communication and people skills.
• Good stakeholder management skills and used to coordinate between business and dev teams.
• A Master's or bachelor’s degree or equivalent by experience.
• Fluent in English.
• Experience in Data analytics and telemetry A/B testing experience.
• Good knowledge of test processes and ISTQB certification.
