Job Description

emagine is seeking a talented Senior Automation Tester to enhance our advisory, credit, and pension operations. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining and improving the quality and reliability of software products. This position involves developing new test cases, maintaining existing ones, conducting peer code reviews, and analyzing project requirements to create effective testing strategies. Ideal candidates will possess substantial experience in Java development and automation testing utilizing tools such as Selenium, Maven, and Cucumber. Passion for software quality and collaborative teamwork is essential.

Main Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of the Senior Automation Tester is to ensure the comprehensive quality of our software products through rigorous testing practices.

• Maintain and enhance existing test cases for accuracy and relevance.
• Develop new test cases based on specific project requirements.
• Conduct peer code reviews to uphold high-quality standards.
• Analyze project requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Work collaboratively within a dynamic development team.
• Document testing processes and report outcomes effectively.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in test automation.
• 4+ years of experience in Java development.
• 4+ years of experience in Selenium automation testing.
• 2+ years of experience with Cucumber.
• 1+ year experience with REST API testing using tools like Postman or ReadyAPI.

Nice to Have:

• 1+ year experience with Playwright.
• 1+ year experience with TypeScript.
• 2+ years of experience with Maven.
• 1+ year experience with jUnit.
• 1+ year experience with HTTP clients in JAVA.
• 1+ year experience with jUnit.
• 1+ year experience in creating test runs configuration in YAML.
• 2+ years of experience in test analysis.
