Senior/Mid Java Developer

PROJECT INFORMATION:

• Industry: banking
• Location: Warsaw (hybrid – 2x per month)
• Rate: up to 160 pln/h net + VAT, B2B
• Project language: English, Polish

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience.
• Strong communication skills in English language.
• Java 8/21 expertise.
• Experience with large Spring + Hibernate + Maven applications.
• Basic knowledge of micro-services.
• Good knowledge of SQL databases.
• Experience with building APIs.
• Experience in GIT, Maven environment.
• Pro-active attitude with willingness to learn new things.
• Experience with or good knowledge of Apache Kafka/RabitMQ.

NICE TO HAVE:

• Spock framework.
• Docker, Kubernetes, AWS.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Implementation of new functionalities in monolithic Java application and microservices.
• Migration of processes from monolith to microservice architecture.
• Working with SQL databases – query optimization and modeling of schemas.
• Taking care of code quality and using design patterns.
• Participation in Scrum meetings (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
• Cooperation with testers, business analysts and Product Owner.
