Senior SAP BTP Developer

About the Role
We are currently looking for a Senior SAP BTP Developer to join our agile team focused on delivering innovative HR solutions on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). You will work on international projects, supporting both new developments and enhancements of existing applications. The role offers a great opportunity to work with modern SAP technologies, including SAP CAP, UI5, BTP Launchpad, and Workflow/Build Process Automation.
You will collaborate with UX experts, solution architects, and backend developers to create scalable and user-friendly applications, primarily extending SAP SuccessFactors and other SAP systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications on SAP BTP
- Build custom UI5 applications integrated with SAP systems via OData services
- Implement cloud-based solutions using SAP CAP (Node.js) and Cloud Foundry
- Extend and enhance SAP SuccessFactors functionalities
- Work with SAP Build Process Automation (formerly BTP Workflow Management)
- Troubleshoot and optimize applications for performance and reliability
- Collaborate within agile teams to support continuous delivery and integration
- Contribute to solution architecture and best practices for BTP applications
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of professional experience as a SAP Developer
- Strong knowledge of SAP BTP, SAP CAP (Node.js), and SAP UI5
- Hands-on experience with SAP Launchpad, SAP Build Process Automation, and OData services
- Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in TypeScript / JavaScript
- Proficient English (min. B2) for daily communication
Nice to Have
- Experience with SuccessFactors OData API
- Familiarity with SAP Cloud Integration, Event Mesh, or Kyma
- Knowledge of Java or Go is a plus
- Prior work in an international or regulated environment
