IT Project Manager - Open Systems Infrastructure and Cloud

About the team: 

You will be part of Euroclear’s Group Technology Services Division Open Systems (OS) Tribe that oversees various Cloud, Windows, Linux, Virtualization, and databases technologies and join the OS Orchestration and Enablement squad. Our team offers a variety of services such as testing, compliancy & regulation and communications, etc. providing value for our customers in and out the tribe. We are truly a supportive team helping Euroclear in their constant evolutive journey.

Your mission, as an IT Project Manager (Open Systems Infrastructure and Cloud) is to coordinate and lead the projects (‘Epics’) in the Tribe. Typically, the Epics managed in our Tribe cover modern technologies hosted in the cloud, both on and off premises, which are powered by various technologies. 

The initial projects that will be assigned to you will be in the fast-evolving cloud environment, helping Euroclear taking the next step in modernizing. Your role is key in bridging the gap between teams, ensuring alignment of cloud projects with business objectives, and facilitating agile practices.

About the role:

As IT Project Manager (Open Systems Infrastructure and Cloud), you are responsible for:

• Ensure that a Governance is defined and supports efficient Epic delivery across concerned teams
• Ensure that Epic delivery is under control (IT controls activities compliancy) and Epic risks are managed
• Define the Cost (assessing the uncertainty level and add a contingency effort, etc.) in the Epic investment Request
• Manage the budget (e.g. IT development) and supports the Epic Business Owner on Epic Benefits delivery
• When required, ensure that the full Epic is deployed in our various environments
• Represent and report out on the Epic throughout the entire lifecycle in steering committees. From ideation until closure

You will work with deeply skilled Engineers and Senior Leaders in our company and be the link between the shopfloor and steering committees.

Requirements:

• Track record as delivery of project manager, ensuring an initiative is managed with the defined and agreed boundaries (Time, Scope, and budget)
• Experience in working in an Agile context and comfortable to apply Agile practice
• Expertise in a cloud domain
• Solid understanding of the open systems technology stack (from hardware to offering cloud services) and experience in a complex multi-tenant technical environment
• Knowledge of these specific tools is a plus: Azure DevOps Boards & ServiceNow
• Good knowledge of the Euroclear technical infrastructure is an asset
• Professional Project Manager certification 
• Agile certification
• ITIL knowledge / certification
• Elastic mindset & can-do attitude

Group Technology Services (GTS) plans, builds and runs the global infrastructure of Euroclear, and is additionally responsible for the IT service management to the operating entities of the various Group markets. Group Technology Services operates its IT systems and IT services in such a way that, at an appropriate and benchmarked cost level, it can deliver the agreed levels of service to support the requirements of the business processes, for both normal operations and during disaster recovery.
