Project Manager

Fibertide employs engineers with strong mathematical and computer science backgrounds. We design, maintain and develop large-scale cloud systems for companies from the U.S. and Europe. Our customers include both ambitious startups and established businesses that require assistance improving their technologies for large userbases, big datasets and rapid growth.

With us, you will be…

• managing projects of international reach,
• managing and leading small teams (around 5 people per team),
• ensuring that company goals, client’s expectations and your teams’ needs are aligned and in harmony with one another,
• designing project-specific formalized procedures for recurring activities,
• providing feedback and performing cross-department tasks for Operations, Business Development and HR departments.

We expect that you…

• have professional experience of leading or managing a team (in a cloud/SRE/large-scale/high-complexity systems’ environment),
• have great communication skills (including English and Polish on a C1+ level) and can engage in written and verbal communication with clients,
• understand team dynamics and can lead and react appropriately to the plethora of possible events (effectiveness drop, new needs arising, conflicts, priorities change etc.),
• are able to manage your time, as well as help others in doing so,
• are great, and willing to further develop yourself, at translating technical and business languages into each other,
• have solid understanding of cloud systems’ purpose and mechanisms involved,
• have a strong technical background.

Bonus points if you…

• excel at theoretical Computer Science or Mathematics,
• have experience in being a mentor or coach to individuals.
