Full-Stack PHP Developer

Greetings, we are Glass Cannon Unplugged—a team dedicated to creating innovative tabletop gaming experiences. We are seeking a dedicated part-time Full-Stack PHP Developer (20 hours per week) to take full ownership of our e-commerce platform. In this solo developer role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing both the back-end and front-end functionalities of the platform.

You’ll be working independently to ensure seamless user experiences and robust back-end operations, delivering new features and optimizing performance across the board.

This role requires someone comfortable with full ownership of a project, from database structure to responsive front-end design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the development, maintenance, and enhancement of our e-commerce platform using PHP and Laravel (back-end) and front-end technologies.
• Design and implement new features, both for user-facing interfaces and back-end processes.
• Build responsive, visually appealing, and user-friendly front-end components.
• Debug, test, and optimize both back-end and front-end functionalities to ensure reliability and performance.
• Manage the entire development lifecycle, from planning and coding to deployment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align development with business goals and gather feedback for improvements.
• Proactively identify and address potential issues or opportunities for optimization.

Key Qualifications:

• Proven experience in creating and maintaining e-commerce platforms, including handling both back-end and front-end development tasks.
• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer, with at least 3 years of professional experience.
• Strong expertise in PHP and the Laravel framework for back-end development.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with responsive design and building user-friendly interfaces.
• Knowledge of MySQL and experience with database design and optimization.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage deadlines effectively.
• Fluent in English (C1 level or higher, spoken and written).

Nice to Have:

• Proficiency in front-end technologies, including Vue.js or React.
• Experience with third-party API integrations and payment gateways.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Strong eye for design and understanding of UX/UI principles.
• Interest in tabletop gaming and familiarity with our products.
