Software engineer for satellite missions

We are expanding our teams in the Space sector to take on Earth Observation Satellite Missions projects.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

In our team you will be involved in the development of data processors for Earth Observation Satellite Missions.

On this position you will be responsible for:

• Development and maintenance of software application
• Software implementation, documentation, verification/validation
• Definition and reviews of SW architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems
• Analysis of SW problems, correction of problems according to the analysis, test the resolution and documentation of all steps done to resolve the problem.
• Non-regression testing
• Implementation of new functions according to new baseline or specification
• Delivery and SW package preparation
• Implementation of enhancements of supporting tools

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

We are looking for software engineers with background and interest in:

•  Programming C/C++ & GNU toolset and python
• Scripting (e.g Python, bash)
• SW development
• Software testing
• Deep understanding of Unix/Linux
• Continuous integration systems (e.g. Jenkins)
• Cloud platforms
• Docker, Kubernetes  

We will also value previous experience, and knowledge in:

• Documentation preparation
• Algorithms for data processing
• Configuration Management systems (SVN, GIT...)
• Profiling (Valgrind or similar)
• Test automation frameworks
