Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. You will collaborate with other Senior Machine Learning Engineers and Machine Learning Architects, working closely with a client from the US.

About the project:

We are applying our know-how and experience from medical projects to image data from a completely different industry. It’s a big challenge but also an incredibly exciting project in which we have already achieved our first successes! 😊

Salary:

• 13,000 PLN – 20,500 PLN Gross – Employment contract
• 103 PLN/h – 164 PLN/h Net – B2B

What does a Senior ML Engineer do?

• Designing and implementing systems for medical data processing, particularly using machine learning methods.
• Conducting experimental research on designed algorithms, especially deep neural networks used for processing image data from computed tomography or magnetic resonance imaging.
• Validating and evaluating the accuracy of algorithms at each stage of software development, from proof-of-concept verification through prototype development to medical device certification.
• Creating project documentation, including experiment reports.
• Collaborating with software engineers to develop technical solutions and components in IT projects.
• Analyzing business requirements and designing technical architectures for testing and implementing comprehensive solutions.
• Mentoring and providing technical oversight for machine learning engineers.
• Collaborating with other machine learning and software engineers to complete assigned project tasks.
• Sharing knowledge and optimizing processes within the team.
• Representing the company at conferences and industry events.
• Supporting sales and business processes by providing expert input in offers and applications.

What do we expect from you?

• A higher technical education (a PhD in computer science, statistics, or mathematics is a plus).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in machine learning.
• Strong knowledge of data visualization, exploration, and analysis techniques (especially for numerical and image data).
• Solid background in statistics and mathematics.
• Expertise in machine learning, particularly deep learning.
• Strong understanding of neural network architectures, including CNN, UNet.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Deep knowledge of image processing and analysis algorithms.
• Ability to efficiently implement and validate research methods, particularly in machine learning.
• Understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of machine learning-based algorithms and the ability to present developed solutions clearly and comprehensively.
• Independence, proactivity, adaptability, strong communication skills, and analytical thinking.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Very good English skills – minimum C1 level.
