Java/Kotlin Developer

We are looking for a Senior Java/Kotlin Developer to join a dynamic engineering team working on a project for a leading global meal kit provider, on a mission to revolutionize how people eat. With its roots in Europe’s vibrant tech hub, Berlin, this company has grown to become a leading global meal kit provider, delivering to over 4.2 million households across 14 countries and three continents. 

Required Skills & Experience:

• Backend: Kotlin, Java, Spring Boot
• Database: PostgreSQL
• Messaging & Streaming: Kafka
• Infrastructure: Kubernetes
• CI/CD: GitHub Actions

Nice to Have:

• Experience in AWS
• Kafka stream processing
• Frontend familiarity
• Automated testing experience
• Agile teamwork & strong communication

What tasks will you work with?

• Proactively engage in refining requirements and planning sprints with the team.
• Implement new functionalities according to business requirements.
• Continuously maintain, refactor, and improve the current set of features through incremental development.
• Collaborate with the team by participating in discussions, working in pairs, designing and reviewing solutions, and code reviews.
