.Net/C# Software Developer (ETL)

We are looking for a senior Net/C # developer for one of our top clients in the finance industry.

This position is a hybrid with an office located in Warsaw.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Oversee technical specifications and system build-out for an end-to-end market data lifecycle, including acquisition, normalization, control, distribution, and archiving.
• Ensure timely and accurate market data delivery for trading and analytical systems, with a focus on intraday and end-of-day valuation of the firm’s portfolio.
• Optimize data pipelines and infrastructure to efficiently handle large-scale market data with minimal latency.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to engineers and analysts while promoting best practices in data management.
• Collaborate with market data vendors and internal stakeholders to onboard new vendors, manage existing data feeds, and resolve data issues.
• Implement and maintain data quality standards and monitoring processes, ensuring data integrity and discrepancy resolution.
• Oversee integration of market data with trading platforms, analytics tools, and reporting systems.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in market data technologies, proposing and implementing enhancements for improved workflows.

Technical Expertise:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in data warehousing, ETL processes, and programming languages like C#, SQL, and Python.
• Deep understanding of trading systems and financial instruments, ensuring seamless market data integration.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
