DevOps Engineer – Cloud & Infrastructure Automation (AWS/Kubernetes)

We are currently seeking a DevOps Engineer to join an international tech-driven project in the cloud automation space. Our client is a major player in the finance industry, and this role will support their build and deployment pipelines for large-scale cloud and on-prem environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with software development teams to design and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines.
- Create reusable pipeline templates that align with system architecture and deployment needs.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployments using Terraform, Ansible, and scripting tools.
- Contribute to the design and maintenance of a robust infrastructure-as-code platform.
- Establish and promote best practices for cloud deployment, automated testing, and configuration management.
- Monitor and support infrastructure, ensuring performance, reliability, and responsiveness of client-facing applications.
- Assist development teams in identifying build or deployment issues and guide them through resolution.
- Build resilient, flexible architectures to handle traffic fluctuations and ensure platform scalability.
Skills & Experience:
- 5-6 years of total experience, 2-3 years as a DevOps, engineering background.
- Strong programming/scripting experience in Python, Java, C#, C/C++, or Golang.
- Proven experience with AWS Cloud, especially with EKS/Kubernetes environments.
- Solid background with Jenkins, including pipeline-as-code in Groovy, or comparable CI/CD platforms like GitLab, GitHub Actions, or TeamCity.
- Hands-on experience with build tools such as Maven, Gradle, or Make.
- Deep understanding of Git and modern software configuration management.
- Familiarity with Databricks is a strong plus.
- Good knowledge of test automation, QA strategies, and continuous testing practices.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- High ethical standards and a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset.
