Lead GUI Developer

Your new company

Our Client is a leading international manufacturer of imaging components for computer vision applications such as cameras, lenses, frame grabbers, software as well as embedded vision solutions, customized products and consulting services. The products are used in a variety of computer vision markets, including factory automation, medical, traffic, logistics, retail, and robotics. Currently, we are supporting the growth of structures in Krakow and search for Lead GUI Developer (hybrid work).

Your new role

• Lead web development role closely cooperating with Product Management and Machine Learning experts on web application UX design.
• Refine features with Product Management and technical experts and estimate them
• Lead features refinement with web development team members
• Design and development of web applications extending pylon architecture following IoT architecture principles and standards
• Cooperate with DevOps team running on-prem and cloud deployments
• Represent AI web platform architecture while working with innovation and RnD teams on Machine Learning challenges
• Develop cross hardware platform services for machine vision tasks, embedding hardware level APIs and open-source libraries
• Work on software engineering infrastructure and test automation

What you'll need to succeed

• Around 5 years of professional experience in developing web applications
• React, Rest, TypeScript, JavaScript experience
• Web applications security knowledge with OAuth protocol and Identity Management providers (Auth0, Azure AD, Okta, ...)
• Autonomous in container-based development with Docker and K8S environment
• Basic understanding of software security problems and verifiable security problem-solving skills
• Understanding of CI/CD processes (repository, build, deployment)
• Practical usage of script solutions like Python or Groovy will be an asset
• Experience in scrum/kanban team
• Automatic and manual testing knowledge - processes and tools for functional, security and performance testing (Playwright, Jest, JUnit, JMeter, Selenium, K6, Mockito, …)
• Ideally around 2 years of technical team leadership
• Due to work in international environment you must have fluent English language skills
