As the QA Engineer in the Global Deployment team, you will be a business facing individual, that is the gatekeeper of end-to-end testing quality. You will do this by designing and automating appropriate quality assurance process and procedures like test plans, test cases, and test scripts to verify software functionality, performance, and usability.
Your responsibilities would include:
- developing and implementing quality assurance policies, standards, and procedures. designing and automating test plans, test cases, and test scripts to verify software functionality, performance, and usability. Supporting teams with conducting thorough testing and validation of configured solutions to ensure accuracy of functionality using test automation tooling. Supporting teams with conducting thorough regression testing to identify and address software defects and inconsistencies using test automation tooling. Providing timely and accurate feedback to developers and stakeholders on product quality and performance. performing any other task assigned by the Deployment Lead within the scope of functional responsibilities
- documenting test results, defects, and other relevant information in a clear and concise manner. Documenting quality assurance policies, standards, and procedures, such as test plans, test cases, and test scripts, to support proper knowledge transfer to service delivery and OpCo teams
- knowledge of test automation tooling (i.e. Tosca or Selenium)
- collaborating with the Deployment Lead to ensure appropriate quality assurance processes and procedures are in place and followed. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and optimization
- staying updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in quality assurance and testing.
You are a good candidate if you have:
- 5+ years of working experience in the similar position testing software in large multi nationals
- strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices
- experience with manual and automated testing techniques, test case design, and test execution
- at least 3-5 years of experience testing solutions built using the above-mentioned technologies
- you have experience in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- strong understanding of Quality Assurance principles
- experience with testing tools (Tosca, Selenium, Cypress etc.)
- excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels
- excellent written and verbal English.
