Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a talented and motivated Data Engineer to join the dynamic team working on a major data transformation for a renowned global fashion company based in Sweden. This role is perfect for someone with a strong technical background who is passionate about building and optimising data products within the Data Mesh concept. We value a variety of technical backgrounds and believe that if you are passionate about data, you will enjoy working here. This role will require you to implement data-intensive solutions for a data-driven organisation. You'll be a key contributor to our AI, Analytics & Data department, helping to ensure the organisation remains at the forefront of data-driven innovation. 

Responsibilities:

• Data Product Development: Take end-to-end responsibility for building, optimizing, and supporting existing and new data products aligned with the target vision.
• DevOps & Cloud Management: Manage CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, and cloud infrastructure within GCP, while promoting a DevOps mindset.
• Quality Standards: Ensure data products meet standards for security, scalability, observability, and performance.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with the Product Manager and teams to shape data product strategies and support the Data Mesh concept.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive ongoing optimizations, reduce technical debt, and stay updated on the latest data, analytics, and cloud technologies.

We offer a choice of employment form: B2B or Employment Contract 

• B2B: 120 – 165 PLN net/hour + VAT

You might be the perfect match if you are/have:

• At least 4+ year’s work experience including hands-on as either: Data engineer on GCP/modern cloud data platforms /or advanced analytics environments. 
• Software Engineer with cloud technologies and infrastructure
• Experience in GCP tools – especially Dataflow, Dataproc and BigQuery;
• Experience in different data formats such as Parquet, Avro;
• Experience in data query languages (SQL or similar);
• Knowledge of NoSQL and RDBMS databases;
• Experience in data-centric programming using one of the following programming languages: Python, Java or Scala;
• Good understanding of different data modelling techniques and trade-off;
• Have a collaborative and co-creative mindset with excellent communication skills;
• Motivated to work in an environment that allows you to work and take decisions independently;
• Fluency in English (C1) to work effectively in a multinational team;
• Location in Poland for easy signing of cooperation offers and occasional team meetings.

Moreover, we appreciate skills in these areas:
