Data Engineer with DBT & Snowflake

We are looking for several experienced Senior Data Engineers with DBT & Snowflake skills to join our team at a leading Swedish manufacturing company. You will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing a Business Intelligence (BI) and analytics tool for finance reporting, supporting operational teams handling month-end closings and balance sheets.

• You will join a structured and well-organized team of Frontend and Backend BI Engineers supported by Technical Leader and experienced Tester.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and drive the backend development of a proprietary BI & analytics tool in the Finance stream.
• Develop and optimize solutions using Snowflake and DBT Core, ensuring high-performance data modeling, reporting, and analysis.
• Work with Azure Data Factory to design and implement efficient data pipelines
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Ensure efficient DWH optimization in Snowflake, example considering dynamic vs hybrid tables.
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure data engineering solutions align with business needs and finance operations.

We offer a B2B Contract: 140-200 PLN net/hour + VAT

You might be the perfect match if you are/have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering roles.
• Expertise in Snowflake and DBT (essential).
• Hands-on experience with Azure, especially Data Factory and DevOps.
• Some experience in CI/CD pipelines and integration (Azure DevOps preferred)
• A passion for problem-solving and developing innovative solutions for data analysis and reporting.
• Proactive communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders.
• Fluent English for smooth collaboration in an international environment.
• Location in Poland to facilitate collaboration and attendance at occasional team meetings.

Moreover, we appreciate skills in these areas:

• Hands-on experience with Power BI.
• Experience in migration projects, specifically moving from on-prem to cloud environments.
• Previous experience working on finance/accounting reporting projects.
• Experience in working in large, diverse development teams and projects.
