We offer a choice of employment form on both B2B and Employment Contract  

• B2B: 160 – 180 PLN net/hour + VAT 
• UoP: 20 900 – 22 800 PLN gross/month 

🚀 We are looking for Senior Software Engineer with experience in Scala and AWS. You'll be joining our client's engineering team to work with one of datasets on mobile and fixed internet performance, helping turn that data into useful insights and features for users. 

In this role you will:  

•  focus in designing and implementing scalable data models and pipelines for connecting multiple data sources for new product features that meet both our end users' and internal stakeholders' requirements while ensuring international compliance.  
• collaborate closely with product managers, data and research scientists and product engineering teams to understand product requirements. 
• turn product requirements to viable and scalable architectures and implementations in a high data volume environment. 
• facilitate complex feature implementations across multiple teams, and implement needed critical missing pieces to cloud backend yourself. 
• mentor and guide junior team members, help them understand architectural principles, best practices, and effective ways of working. 

You should have hands-on skills and attitude, a strong technical background in cloud, software and data architectures, and excellent communication skills. Experience in AI and ML is beneficial. 

You might be the perfect match if you possess the following competencies: 

• 6+ years of previous commercial experience 
• Strong background in Scala
• Proven experience in AWS 
• Strong working knowledge of SQL and databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redshift, Athena and Iceberg  
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience 
• Strong understanding of data modeling and modern data warehouse architectures like lakehouse
• Excellent English communication skills 
• Locations: Poland or other EU country 

💡Nice to have:

• Experience or knowledge of Python and Java. Willingness to work with those languages for specific tasks
• Machine learning / AI skills in terms of data processing
