Embedded Engineer (Networking)

What project we have for you

The project is mainly focused on extending in-car Linux-based connectivity components for Wireless connectivity as well as customization and support of NetworkManager. The primary objectives are extension and support of in-car connectivity system for one of the most famous automotive OEM. Our team is working with a set of components of Wireless vehicle connectivity system and in-car communication, so position requires some background with WiFi technologies or automotive communication and diagnostic. 

What you will do

• Design, develop, support and test C++ applications and software components. 
• Troubleshoot production issues. 
• Focus on solving complex tasks in a simple way within given technologies. 
• Write clean, efficient and well-documented code. 
• Support of deployment and release processes.

What you need for this

• 5+ years of experience in Software Development.
• 2+ years of experience in Automotive projects.
• Development C/C++ components for automotive.
• Networking background, general understanding of networking on L2 – L5 levels.
• Experience with Wireless communication in Linux.
• Understanding of Linux TCP/IP stack.
• Expertise in Linux and embedded development, Inter-process communication.  
• Basic knowledge of Wi-Fi security and firewall.
• Google test.

Will be a plus: 

• Experience with Dbus IPC.
• Familiar with vehicle Diagnostic, UDS protocol. 
• Experience with Yocto.
