Industrial Software Developer – SPS BECKHOFF with C# and Python

This is a Switzerland-based remote opportunity – 90% remote with occasional on-site visits

As a Software Developer – SPS BECKHOFF with C# and Python, you will be working on building automation and control systems. You will be responsible for developing and optimizing SPS (PLC) applications, implementing new database concepts, and maintaining software code generators and automation tools.

Your main responsibilities:

• Develop SPS foundations and libraries using BECKHOFF TwinCAT 3.0
• Implement and optimize new database concepts
• Maintain and enhance software code generators and automation tools
• Analyze system requirements and create suitable technical concepts
• Conduct internal testing to ensure software reliability and performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• 7+ years of experience with BECKHOFF TwinCAT 3.0
• 4+ years of experience in object-oriented programming (C#, Python)
• 2-3 years of experience in database programming (SQL)
• Background in automation, building technology, or electrical engineering
• Experience in building automation or control systems
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Fluency in English, Polish is a plus
