As a Project Manager, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution committed to strengthening technology risk and control across its Equities & Securities Financing Technology division. You will be leading a key global initiative to enhance operational resilience, ensuring robust governance, risk visibility, and mitigation. Collaborating with technology and control teams, you will drive project planning, execution, and stakeholder engagement to meet internal control standards. Your expertise in project management and risk control will be critical in delivering solutions that align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Your main responsibilities:
- Managing project delivery from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with risk frameworks
- Overseeing governance, reporting, and risk visibility initiatives to enhance control effectiveness
- Engaging and influencing stakeholders across risk, technology, and leadership teams
- Implementing Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies to drive project execution
- Utilizing tools such as Jira and Confluence for project tracking and collaboration
- Assessing risks and identifying mitigation strategies to improve operational resilience
- Ensuring adherence to internal control standards and regulatory requirements
- Reporting project progress, risks, and control effectiveness to senior stakeholders
- Driving informed decision-making through problem-solving and data analysis
- Leading process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance in project management
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- Strong experience in project management within technology, risk, or compliance environments
- Proven ability to manage complex projects in a regulated financial industry
- Expertise in stakeholder engagement and influencing senior leadership
- Hands-on experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Excellent risk assessment and mitigation skills
- Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities
- Experience in governance, reporting, and control effectiveness
- Outstanding communication skills for senior-level reporting
- Ability to drive technology risk and control initiatives effectively
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Prior experience in Equities & Securities Financing Technology
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance frameworks
- Experience in operational resilience programs
- Familiarity with cloud-based risk management solutions
