As a Senior Java Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution, focused on providing secure, high-performance solutions to meet complex business needs. The client is undertaking a large-scale project involving the development of cutting-edge IT solutions to ensure the efficiency and security of their financial platforms. You will collaborate closely with global and regional teams, participating in the full software development lifecycle, from system analysis and design to implementation and support. This is a fantastic opportunity to further develop your technical expertise while delivering mission-critical systems.

Your main responsibilities:

• Analyzing business requirements and designing technical solutions to meet those needs
• Developing, implementing, and testing IT solutions according to high-quality standards
• Conducting system tests and user acceptance tests to ensure project success
• Preparing project documentation, ensuring compliance with audit and policy standards
• Reducing technical risks and minimizing technical debt in system design and implementation
• Providing technical consultancy and support in eChannels
• Delivering knowledge transfer and on-the-job training to improve team productivity
• Working closely with global and regional stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
• Managing business expectations and fostering positive relationships with stakeholders
• Continuously improving technical knowledge and best practices within the team

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• 6+ years of technical experience in Java, J2EE, Spring, SQL, WAS, MQ
• Hands-on experience in API development, including Spring Boot and Spring Cloud
• Expertise in Kafka MQ and banking IT systems
• Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively under pressure
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices
• Experience in preparing and presenting technical documentation and business reports
• Fluent English 
• A degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Enthusiasm for continuous learning and improving technical skills
