Senior Web Developer

Craft Dynamic Websites as a Web Developer for one of the Biggest Polish Banks!

Warsaw-based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days in the office/month).

As a Senior Web Developer, you will be working for our client, one of the leaders in online banking, helping to build and maintain cutting-edge web applications. You will contribute to the development of secure, high-performance, and scalable digital banking solutions. Your expertise in web technologies will be crucial in ensuring seamless user experiences across different devices and browsers. This role involves close collaboration with designers, backend developers, and product teams to implement responsive and visually appealing interfaces that meet industry standards.

Your main responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain web applications using modern technologies such as HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design implementation
• Utilize frameworks such as Angular, ReactJS, or TypeScript for dynamic and interactive UI development
• Optimize application performance for scalability and efficiency
• Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX wireframes into functional code
• Work closely with backend developers to integrate frontend applications with APIs
• Maintain code quality and ensure adherence to best practices in web development
• Debug and troubleshoot issues to improve application stability

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Advanced knowledge of web technologies, including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and Node.js
• Experience in building cross-browser compatible web applications
• Proficiency in responsive web design techniques (e.g., Bootstrap, Material Design)
• Strong expertise in JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, TypeScript, Angular, or ReactJS
• Familiarity with graphic design tools used in web development
• Min. 5 years of experience in web development
• Ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Understanding of web security best practices

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of .NET (C#), SQL
• Experience working with Agile methodology
• Experience in developing web applications embedded in WebView components
• Familiarity with tools: MSSQL, Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, WebStorm, GIT, JIRA, Ant, MSBuild, TeamCity, PowerShell, Ansible
