Project

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for a strategic API Platform initiative. To simplify our integration landscape, increase reusability, and speed up time to market, we are rolling out a new strategic API management platform and creating new functionality to speed up the adoption process with self-service for onboarding, governance workflows, and automation. 

The engineer in this role will be responsible for automating the provisioning of infrastructure such as EKS for our API gateways with Terraform, setting up monitoring and logs, and creating CI/CD pipelines to update APIs and configuration changes. In addition to the API Platform itself, the team will be building a new Portal for the API catalogue which will require infrastructure, container deployment, Kubernetes management, and the setting up of CI/CD pipelines.

Expected competences and knowledge

• 4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role
• Strong expertise in AWS Cloud and AWS Services development tooling
• Solid hands-on experience with Kubernetes
• Extensive experience with Docker, Terraform, and Ansible
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, Splunk, InfluxDB, or similar
