Project

We are seeking a skilled Manual Tester to join a team working on a critical financial transaction monitoring system, FACP. This system ensures compliance and security in banking transactions. As part of an Agile environment, the tester will be responsible for verifying changes, integrations, and data feeds, ensuring system integrity and performance. The ideal candidate will work independently, assessing and testing modifications while closely collaborating with stakeholders to maintain seamless functionality.

What you'll be doing

• Perform manual and automated testing for FACP transaction monitoring system
• Ensure all modifications, integrations, and data feeds function as expected
• Identify, assess, and test potential effects of system changes
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure all changes are properly documented and tested
• Track and close defects, providing detailed test reports
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, retrospectives, and planning meetings
• Continuously improve testing processes and ensure high-quality deliverables

Expected competences and knowledge

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Manual Tester
• Strong experience with different types of testing (functional, regression, integration, performance)
• Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins)
• Experience in writing and executing automated test scripts (Cucumber, Selenium, Maven)
• Ability to analyze requirements, define test scenarios, and document test results
• Defect tracking and reporting using test management tools
• Strong SQL skills and experience with database testing (DB2, Oracle)
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in Agile environments with a collaborative mindset
• Proactive approach to identifying risks, dependencies, and process improvements
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in fast-paced environments
• ISTQB certification is a plus
