Salary: 500 - 800 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: elastic hybrid only from Gdynia or Gdańsk (at least 1 day per week from the office)

Project

---

We are looking for a Manual Tester to support the delivery of a new core banking platform. The project focuses on system implementation, product portfolio transformation, and process harmonization. You will be responsible for reviewing requirements, executing manual tests with automation potential, managing test data, monitoring results, reporting defects, and ensuring high-quality delivery. Working in an international team, you will contribute to risk mitigation, problem-solving, and process improvement.

 

Responsibilities you'll have

• Reviewing and providing feedback on requirements and technical designs from a test perspective
• Analyzing, designing, implementing, and executing test cases using manual testing methods
• Contributing to defining the overall test plan and approach for the team
• Working actively with the whole team to ensure high-quality delivery
• Gathering and managing test data while understanding test data dependencies in a given context
• Monitoring and documenting test results
• Reporting, debugging, and verifying defects
• Recommending appropriate actions based on test results
• Performing functional testing
• Resolving daily impediments, communicating effectively, and mitigating risks

 

Expected competences and knowledge

• Experience in manual testing with the ability to identify opportunities for automation
• Hands-on experience with SQL databases, HP ALM, MS Office (Excel filtering and lookup functions), and JIRA
• Experience with Agile projects and Continuous Integration
• Strong understanding of test data dependencies in a given context
• Expertise in defining, executing, and reporting tests for complex software systems
• Ability to work in an international, cross-country environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• A proactive mindset with a strong drive and willingness to learn
• Excellent teamwork and knowledge-sharing skills
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken

 

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Temenos T24
• +2 years of testing experience in the banking domain 
• Experience in testing lifecycle of savings and lending products (Deposits, Accounts, and Loans)
